I would fear the beard but according to Katniss Crane could’ve been hung and according to Gary Ross Crane could’ve been sentenced to death by Nightlock, so the beard is no longer feared.
Was it just me who burst out laughing in the Cinema at this point, or did anyone else?
I mean, I was the only one in my Cinema who laughed, but still…
AND THE LOOK ON SENECA CRANE’S FACE = PRICELESS
This blog has yet to see the beard of Crane.
That has to change. Here. And now.
Welcome, beard of Seneca Crane!
This part was gut-wrenching.
Even if you knew what was going to happen, you didn’t want to watch.
You wanted to close your eyes, with everything would stop, wish it was over.
Fight the tears. Hide away. Hope.
And then you heard Templesmith’s voice (or was it Crane’s?), and it was over.
I found this to be one of the most powerful scene’s in the movie. The resigned look on Katniss’s face really demonstrated the conflict of emotions within her.
Does she, or does she not, love Peeta Mellark?
