Possibly one of the best THG edits doing the rounds, en-capturing some of the most scintillating moments from the film.
Unfortunately, when trying to reblog it, the person I was reblogging from I think deleted it as Tumblr would not allow me so I don’t know the true, original source.
Still, it’s truly a great piece.

I imagine this happening, but without the coat, Katniss in the tube of death, and then Cinna being dragged out of the room. This is part of Catching Fire that I am not looking forward to.
I was distraught when I read that Cinna died. I mean yeah, he probably knew it was ging to happen after what he chose to do with Katniss’s wedding dress but still, it hits you hard.
From the beginning he looks out for Katniss, cares for her, stops the Capitol from changing her. He is a flamboyant character who always knows what he is doing which is what makes him so loved by Katniss and every reader.
In my opinion, while Katniss IS the Mockingjay, it was Cinna who CREATED the Mockingjay. Without his role as her stylist, there is no way she would have garnered so much favour.
In reality, Katniss is indebted to so many people.
So yeah, I am dreading this scene, so much.

I may be over-thinking things, but I find this collection of THG posters to be symbolic.
Why?
Because only Katniss looks to her right - everyone else looks to their left.
Whether this was intentional or not does not matter, but for me, what it demonstrates, is a throwback to the novel by Suzanne Collions, especially when you look at the characters involved.
The book is written from Katniss’s point of view, so some characters are mentioned more than others. These seven received a lot of attention from Katniss during the Hunger Games so it seems somewhat right that they are on the promotional posters.
Also, I mentioned Katniss looking to her right and the others to their left. This, for me, shows it as we are seeing everyone as Katniss saw them and that is not being forgotten during the films production and, in fact, is emphasised in the promotions.
It’s clever. It’s brilliant. It’s a masterstoke.
